I'm a surrealist acrylic painter, co-running an art gallery in the lower west end of Toronto.

I started painting again after many years hiatus, following an 8-month relationship with an X-Box. I realized, as I crawled out into the light of dude's apartment, that I had no memories of our relationship aside from Skyrim. I decided never to waste my life ever again.
And then, the harder I worked, the more I created, the more involved I became with the arts community. I started dancing in Lunacy Cabaret. I met a wonderful man who encouraged me to do what I did best, and to flourish in my element. He supported me as I worked, as he worked on his musical album.

And then he got sick. I left my job, and the home I had to be with him, and to help take care. He got weaker, and weaker, and eventually he was put into hospice care. I stayed there with him. I was beside him when the cancer finally took him.

And then I had to find a way back into my life. So for now, I live where I work. And I work more than I ever used to.

I find inspiration in love, in loss, in dreams, and in the close proximity of other artists.

Life is not always what we want it to be, but it is what you make of it.
